City Council deliberates affairs of the municipality and its deliberations are made known to the public.
In this context, its operation is governed by Articles L. 2121-7 to L. 2121-27-1 Code General Local Authorities.

The council meetings


The council meets at least once per quarter at the call of Mayor

The adoption of internal rules


The adoption of internal rules is not mandatory in municipalities with fewer than 3,500 inhabitants.

However, the council of municipalities of 3,500 or more inhabitants must establish its rules of procedure within six months after its installation.
This act establishes rules for the functioning of the deliberative body under the provisions of the CGCT. It must also specify:
