330 million euros for the defense budget. 3850 French soldiers now in arms against the Afghan people. 11 000 civilians have died there. 50 French soldiers, the DOM for the most part, have been killed since the conflict began. That is the record of the French presence in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, 56 000 teaching posts have been cut since 2007. Schools are closed, like hospitals and maternity homes. In the DOM-TOM, ravaged by unemployment, youth is brigaded to serve as cannon fodder to French imperialism. We will not fund the barbarism of capitalism. The money from our wages to fund our pensions, our schools and our health.
We met Sunday, December 5 at the initiative of Youth emigrated to France and Reunion Internationalist Socialist Group, call on all parties, unions and organizations which claim the labor movement to speak out clearly for the withdrawal of troops French in Afghanistan and Africa.
