Whether the massacres in Rwanda, the destabilization of Côte d'Ivoire, the ten-year war in Afghanistan military operations in Niger in January 2011 or use the meeting as a vast military base, the French army is an institution that works without respite.
Sarkozy and his door-guns repeatedly stated that the coffers are empty to justify the destruction of public service workers and acquired: lengthening the contribution period for pension, 66 000 teaching positions cut since 2007! Meanwhile, 15,000 additional soldiers are recruited: these meetings, metropolitan high school students, students with no future other than to cannon fodder.
Today, 11,200 French soldiers are operating in Africa and the Middle East. The speech of Mr. Alliot-Marie on the French expertise in security, to suppress the revolution Tunisia, is a glaring example of the relation which our imperialism with its former colonies: ready to support any plan to secure its economic or political interests. But this example also shows that before the discontent, both in Tunisia and in France, youth and workers caused by such a speech, the minister and the interests it represents have been forced to backtrack.
With the destabilization of the French bourgeoisie in Tunisia and the Egyptian revolution, everything becomes possible, including the victory of the struggle for the withdrawal French imperialist troops from Afghanistan and Africa. The enemy of the people is here is the French state. Let us fight and let us mobilize until the withdrawal of French troops, for the right of peoples to self-determination. Require that the money goes to health, education, our retirement ... Not War!
